"I would have died": Billie Eilish says Covid vaccine saved her life
New York, New York - Pop star Billie Eilish has spoken out about having coronavirus for the first time .
"It was bad," the singer told Howard Stern in a new radio interview on SiriusXM's the Howard Stern Show.
"I didn’t die, and I wasn’t going to die, but that does not take away from how miserable it was."
The 19-year-old said she continues to have side effects and was sick for almost two months.
"It was terrible," she added.
Billie contracted the virus in August, after she had been vaccinated.
"I want it to be clear it is because of the vaccine I’m fine. I think if I weren’t vaccinated, I would have, like, died because it was bad," she said. "It felt horrible."
She continued to say the vaccine was "f***ing amazing" and that it saved her parents, brother, and friends from getting infected.
The singer most recently did double duty as host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live last weekend.
