It's not so easy being a teen sensation.

"I don't always want to reveal the most intimate details of my life to the world," the 19-year-old told rapper Stormzy (28) in a new interview for British fashion magazine i-D.

"I don't really want people to know everything about me, but at the same time, I want people to be able to feel seen and heard if they've been through the same things I have."

The 19-year-old wants to help others through her music, but sometimes she said she feels torn.

"You can speak for people who don't have a voice, but it's also conflicting because sometimes you don't want to talk about it either," she added.

Eilish has more than 90 million followers on Instagram who hang on her every word, often scrutinizing her radical look changes, commenting on her body image, speculating about her sexuality, and dissecting her photos.

Yet, the star has continued to bring her artistry to the forefront, with her newest album Happier Than Ever shooting to the top of the charts since its July debut and a follow-up concert film released last week on Disney+. She delves into her life in the limelight even more on her recent single, NDA.

"How'd it get so dark?" she sings.

The teenager still has a long way to go in her career, as the battle over how much to share with the world wages on.
