Beyoncé's Dubai concert: Here's everything that went down!
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Beyoncé returned to the stage for the first time in four years with an epic concert to open up the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai!
On Saturday evening, Queen Bey ended her stage hiatus with a reportedly jaw-dropping performance for the opening of the luxurious Dubai-based resort.
The super-private affair was apparently attended by 1,000 special guests and celebrities, including her hubby Jay-Z, Kendall Jenner, Chloë and Halle Bailey, Ellen Pompeo, and Rebel Wilson.
Per People, the 41-year-old singer performed a 60-minute-long catalog of her greatest hits from her decades-long career such as Naughty Girl, Crazy In Love, Halo, and Beautiful Liar. She is said to have opened the concert with Etta James’ classic At Last and closed with Drunk In Love.
The show reportedly included a 48 member all-female orchestra, dancers, fireworks, and Bey being lifted into the air atop a fountain surrounded by water and fire. She was joined onstage by her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter in the youngster's first live public performance ever. Swedish House Mafia played a DJ set after the show ended.
Last months, insiders claimed that Bey inked a lucrative deal for the singular performance, gaining roughly $24 million - no biggie right? - to headline the night at the upscale resort.
It said Queen Bey didn’t perform any songs from her latest hit album Renaissance, fueling more speculation she is saving them for a tour later this year.
Though the invite-only event was supposed to be kept hush-hush and had a strict no-phones policy, some attendees couldn't help but sneak in a few recordings and pics from the epic show, which have been making waves on Twitter.
