Beyoncé announces Renaissance World Tour – and the hype is on!
New York, New York - Beyhive, the time has come! Beyoncé has officially announced that she will be hitting the road for an epic 47-stop world tour.
The 41-year-old confirmed swirling tour rumors with a post on Instagram on Wednesday morning announcing her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, based on her album of the same name, which dropped in July.
The concert series will begin in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 10 and continue through Europe before kicking off a North American leg, beginning in Toronto, Ontario, on July 8.
Bey will then begin shows at stadiums across the US, starting with Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 12.
The Partition singer will conclude the world tour in New Orleans at Caesars Supermore on September 27.
Fans can expect to hear plenty of tracks from Beyoncé's latest album, which just might snag her a few more Grammy Awards this weekend before the tour begins. It's been nominated for eight trophies, and could break a few all-time records if it snags multiple wins.
Given the chaotic mess that was the presale for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour on Ticketmaster, fans are already anxious about snagging tickets to the highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour.
Tickets for Bey's shows have not yet appeared on Ticketmaster, but the Beyhive is certainly bracing itself for a potential bloodbath in the site's notorious queues.
Here's hoping Ticketmaster has learned from its many mistakes!
