Back down to earth: Pete Davidson drops out of Blue Origin space mission!
Los Angeles, California - Apparently, Pete Davidson won't be joining Jeff Bezos' six-man crew to outer space on the Blue Origin after all.
On Thursday evening, Bezos' company shared via a social media statement that the comedian won't be aboard the spacecraft.
Blue Origin's flight was originally scheduled for March 23 but has since been changed to March 29 – a date that Pete is reportedly unavailable.
"Blue Origin's 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29. Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission," continued the tweet. "We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days," the statement on Twitter read.
The Saturday Night Live star was originally supposed to join Marty Allen, Sharon Hagle, her husband Marc Hagle, Jim Kitchen, and Dr. George Nield for the rocket's 20th mission to space.
The latest outing will mark the fourth human flight for the New Shepard program.
The King of Staten Island star would've been the third celebrity to fly to space with Bezos, after William Shatner and Michael Strahan both embarked on missions with Blue Origin.
Earlier this yea, Pete was spotted attending a private dinner party at the former CEO of Amazon's mansion with Kim Kardashian.
Speaking of Kim, TMZ just shared pics of the SKIMS owner and her boo grabbing a bite to eat at the popular eatery In-N-Out.
The pair appeared to be in good spirits while enjoying their low-key date – which is probably due to Ye being kicked off of Instagram.
