During an episode of The Checkup With Dr. David Agus on Paramount+, the 44-year-old star made several shocking admissions regarding his health battles throughout the years.

First, Ashton revealed that he once considered jumping off a balcony to save his twin brother Michael's life who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a young age and needed a heart transplant.

"I'm thinking to myself, 'If anyone's a match, I'm a match. Now you start running that cycle through your head. You're like, 'This balcony looks far enough to take things'," the That '70s Show star explained.

"I think standing on the balcony going, 'I'm a match,' that moment is probably the exact moment the shift took place. Where I'm like, 'How do I get to be this lucky? And my brother to be born with cerebral palsy, then have a heart transplant, then have this random blood clot. Who has to go through that? How do I get to be this lucky?'"

Dr. Agus told ET that watching the brothers discuss the situation decades later "was powerful."

"The emotion between them, and them looking at each other and holding hands, was just remarkably powerful," he said.

Against all odds, Ashton's twin found a match in 24 hours and received a heart transplant.

Ashton also touched on his health scare when he was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, vasculitis, which he revealed in August.

"I woke up one day and was having vision issues, could hardly see," he told Dr. Agus in a clip shared by CBS.

"Knocked out my hearing, which threw off my equilibrium, my balance, and I couldn't walk."

The Just Married star has since made "impressive" progress since his year-long struggle against the disease.

His secret weapon?

Ashton credits his wife and former That '70s show costar Mila Kunis for helping him make great strides of progress.

"I will say, your wife was amazing. Just curled up there by your side. It was a beautiful thing to watch," Dr. Agus said of the Bad Moms star.

Of course, Ashton couldn't agree more as he simply referred to his wife as "the best."
