Adele sends album speculation into overdrive with epic social media comeback!

London, UK - Nine months since her last tweet. Almost three years since her last tweet. Minus the odd Instagram pic here and there, Adele hasn't exactly been active on social media. That's what makes Tuesday's sudden burst of activity all the more remarkable.

Is it finally time for that new Adele album fans have been waiting for since 2016?

Judging by the hints popping up left, right, and center, the answer might just be yes!

First, there's the cross-posting on all the major social media platforms, which confirmed that, at the very least, we're getting a new single. Adele's Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts now feature a 21-second black and white teaser, along with the caption "Easy On Me – October 15."

And if a few typically melancholic piano chords aren't enough to get the heart racing, there's also the large billboards recently spotted all over the place, as reported in a tweet by BBC music correspondent Mark Savage. They all feature the number 30 on a teal background.

Here's the kicker: aside from the fact that Adele has previously hinted that "31 is going to be a big ol' year" and that it fits perfectly with her sequence of age-themed albums (19, 21, 25), all her profile and cover pics are now that very same teal background.

After two delays and no doubt some complications brought about by the pandemic, it seems like the wait is finally over. And judging by the millions of views the Easy On Me teasers have already racked up, records have every chance of tumbling again!
