Achy breaky heart: Billy Ray Cyrus' wife files for divorce a third time!
Williamson County, Tennessee - Miley Cyrus' parents, Billy Ray and Tish, are calling it quits for the third time – but will it last this time?
On Monday, TMZ reported that Tish has filed for divorce from the famous country crooner after 28 years of marriage.
According to the outlet, Billy Ray Cyrus' soon to be ex-wife filed on Wednesday in Williamson County, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to documents.
Tish also said noted that the couple have not lived together in more than two years.
The Achy Breaky Heart singer and his estranged wife got married in 1993, and share five children: daughters Miley, Noah, and Brandi, plus sons Trace and Braison.
In 2010, the Grammy-winner filed for divorce from Tish but announced five months later that he'd withdrawn his petition. Three years later, things soured between the two again, with Tish filing for divorce that June.
At the time, the 54-year-old revealed to People, "This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
The pair reconciled and reportedly fixed their issues with the help of couple's therapy.
The pair's most famous child, Miley, has some experience with breaking up and making up, as she engaged in an on-and-off 10-year romance with Liam Hemsworth, which ended with the former couple divorcing in 2020.
