May 4 is, of course, Star Wars Day and this year, people weren't the only ones celebrating. Zoos around the country really got into it too!
Among others, Phoenix Zoo posted an elaborate video to Twitter that aped the "Day in the life" video trend, but with a twist.
The video titled "Day in the Life: Storm 'Keeper'" has a stellar soundtrack and it features a Storm Trooper doing something good for a change: cleaning up after the animals.
Down in Texas, the Gladys Porter Zoo celebrated the birthday of two white tigers with a TikTok to the tune of the famous Star Wars intro.
California sea lions at the St. Louis Zoo also "discovered some enrichment that is out-of-this-world," according to a hilarious Facebook post. They were also presented with a very special R2D2.
The force was strong with the Cincinnati Zoo otters too, who can handle themselves around a lightsaber, judging by these pictures/
Up in Philly, staff at the Philadelphia Zoo found their very own Obi Wan Kenobi: a giant ape whose mesmerizing stare definitely says, "These are not the droids you're looking for."
