Golden Retriever brings the baby love and makes hearts explode on TikTok

Richmond, Virginia - Golden Retriever Riley has been a huge hit on TikTok, regularly gaining thousands of clicks on his videos and sporting over 1 million followers. But with his new baby brother added to the mix, viewers' heats have truly exploded.

As Riley's TikTok bio proclaims, he's "jumping straight into your hearts." And he's not lying.

The four-legged friend had already become an internet star in his own right. Yet, when his parents recently welcomed a newborn to the family, the crew unlocked a new viral duo.

"3 weeks of being a big brother!" Riley's newest TikTok video boasts, and has been watched over 32 million times.

The adorable video features several scenes of the dog and baby Rhett together, with Riley often taking on the role of protector and looming over his new human sibling with a watchful eye.

The two also share cuddles galore, to the delight of thousands who have flooded the comment section with heart emojis.

It's "the start of a long friendship," according to Riley's accounts, which confirmed the twosome have now celebrated one month at each other's side.

The two "soulmates" even sported matching Halloween costumes, twinning as another animal friend – loving lions.

The 8-year-old pup's special bond with the newborn has touched animal lovers across the web.

"Here comes me crying! So Sweet," commented one TikToker. "So friggen adorable!" wrote another.

Yet, Riley's sweet demeanor with baby Rhett is not such a surprise. After all, golden retrievers are known for being good with families and kids, as many on TikTok attested to.

"Goldens are the best. My daughter and mine were besties until the very end," wrote one viewer. "Our Golden was the exact same way," chimed in another.

With or without his new baby accessory, Riley's parents say he is "his cute self 24/7."

The internet definitely agrees.
