Golden retriever and cocker Spaniel mixed breed dogs are too cute to handle!
Bulgaria - The small English cocker spaniel and the comparatively large golden retriever don't seem like the perfect pair at first glance. But thanks to resourceful dog breeders, it's possible to cross them to create the so-called golden cocker retriever.
Some owners proudly present their crossbred doggos on Instagram, like Alena Avramova from Bulgaria, who made an account just for her golden cocker retriever friend. Her mixed dog named Zoey is clearly the star of the page, and for good reason.
When you look at her, it's obvious that she greatly resembles a golden retriever, but her height definitely stems from her English cocker spaniel genes. In any case, she's one gorgeous pup!
Oddly enough, the golden cocker retriever hasn't been around for long. The hybrid K9 is a new designer breed that only became popular over the last 20 years, according to hepper, a company specializing in pet products.
This idea has certainly paid off, as the animal is intelligent, energetic, playful, and alert – but that's not all!

Golden cocker retrievers are not about the solo life
The lovable mixed breed gets along with small children extremely well, allowing them to be easily integrated into many families.
However, golden cocker retrievers do not want to be left alone for long, otherwise they can get very frustrated and unruly.
According to hepper, single dog-lovers can definitely manage one of these crossbred cuties, but they should either work from home or be allowed to bring their fur baby to the office.
Hours of solitude are simply not good for this designer breed.
