Dodgy doggy dinner routine plays a trick on TikTok too!
USA - A Chihuahua named Bailey has gone viral after her picky preferences caused a stir on TikTok.
This is a proper pupper supper!
Users have been chuckling over one dog's family, who regularly goes through an amusing routine to trick their finicky pup into eating her food.
"When she won't eat dinner until it's 'prepared' hooman style," Bailey's owner says in the video hit.
Bailey is at first seen in the clip reluctantly refusing her food, as her owner pipes up, "Ok, I'll fix it for you!"
He then bustles around the kitchen, pretending to heat up the food in the microwave. The pet owner also heads to the refrigerator, where he pretends to add some "secret ingredient" sauces into the dog's bowl.
When Bailey's owner finally puts the food down, the pooch doesn't hesitate for a second, and happily chows down!
"This has now become a mandatory preference," the pup owner joked. "Maybe she loves my chef skills."
Yet, the joke was taken one step further, as many TikTok users also appeared to be tricked themselves!
A viral video of a dog and her dinner routine tricks TikTok too
Funny enough, the video's comment section was flooded with users asking why Bailey's owner put the dog's metal bowl into the microwave.
The comments racked up such a stir that Bailey's owner recently put up a response video, where he reveals how he turns his back to the dog and, despite turning the microwave on, only pretends to put the bowl in.
"You tricked Bailey & Us," wrote one TikToker.
"We ALL fell for it. Brilliant sir! Dogs don’t know metal can’t go in," commented another.
A new TikTok has shown the owner keeping the ploy rolling, setting a fancy dinner plate at the table to keep Bailey happy and pretending to do some microwave magic.
But after the laughter has died down, one thing remains: perhaps it's not Bailey, but her owner who is the trained one of the bunch!
