Demonic "Chucky doll" chihuahua proves a hard sell in hilarious foster ad
Morris Plains, New Jersey - A foster animal mom has written a brutally honest ad to get rid of the demon dog she calls "a vessel for a traumatized Victorian child that now haunts our home."
One fed-up foster mom had had enough.
Tyfanee Fortuna just couldn't write another kind word about Prancer after sharing ads for months, hoping to find the two-year-old Chihuahua she was fostering a forever home.
"There’s not a very big market for neurotic, man hating, animal hating, children hating dogs that look like gremlins," she wrote on Facebook.
"But I have to believe there’s someone out there for Prancer, because I am tired and so is my family. Every day we live in the grips of the demonic Chihuahua hellscape he has created in our home."
She continued to let the hilarity rip about "the 13 pound rage machine."
"Prancer came to me obese, wearing a cashmere sweater, with a bacon egg and cheese stuffed in his crate with him. I should have known in that moment this dog would be a problem," the 25-year-old foster mom said.
Tyfanee's tirade about her "neurotic mess" went viral. It was shared thousands of times on Faceook and Twitter and got attention from media and dog lovers around the world.
Prancer has gained the attention of many potential adoptive parents
"Finding someone who wants a chucky doll in a dogs body is hard," Tyfanee wrote, but Second Chance Pet Adoption League told Today that they now have people nationwide wanting to adopt him!
The organization specializes in "misunderstood little ones" like Prancer and is only considering local adoptive homes in New Jersey. They want to be sure that prospective dog parents can form a connection with the "haunted Victorian child in the body of a small dog."
Tyfanee says she is overwhelmed by the new "concept of fame" for herself and Prancer. She has received an outpouring of support for her comedic chops – getting offers of compensation for her writing and compliments from Saturday Night Live staffers.
Maybe she'll be able to get more writing done once Prancer's "demonic noises and shaking fury" have moved to a new home.
