Adorable pit bull hangs out with cats and thinks he's one of them!
Clemson, South Carolina - Meet Mako, a two-year-old pit bull who loves his family very much, but seems to be going through a bit of an identity crisis.
That's because the little dog clearly thinks he's a cat – at least he definitely acts as one!
As This Dog's Life reported, Mako was adopted by Bethany Castiller and Samantha Castiller in 2018 and it wasn't long until they noticed that something wasn't exactly right with their new best friend.
"We started noticing some cat-like behavior into the first week of getting him," Bethany Castiller told the magazine.
As soon as the couple slowly started introducing Mako to their two cats, Pecan and Gizmo, things "got a little weird."
Since then, Mako has been jumping on the kitchen counter non-stop, going crazy for cat treats, and generally doing a great feline impression!
On the Instagram account mako_thecatdog, Bethany and Samantha regularly share Mako's funniest moments.
Pecan and Gizmo tolerate their weird adopted "sibling"
But what do his siblings think about his behavior?
Pecan and Gizmo kind of don't care. They are both fine with his presence, but it doesn't seem like they want to be best friends with the pit bull.
"Mako definitely wants to be around them more than they want to be around him at times," Castiller continues.
"The cats usually don't have a problem with him, but you can tell they are always surprised when he gets on the tables with them."
