Dinner time: Scary tarantula video shocks Reddit users
Internet - This footage is definitely not for the faint-hearted!
A one-minute clip is currently terrifying thousands on Reddit. It was reposted by user KKn_D in the Subreddit MakeMeSuffer and let's be clear, that's definitely where it belongs!
It shows a giant spider eating an entire bird, even though the meal is almost twice its size!
The comment section under the creepy post is full of disgusted and creeped-out Reddit users who can't believe what they're seeing.
"Holy how is that possible?" one of them asked, while another added a weary "Let me guess, australia."
"Damn nature, you scary," a third one wrote.
The eight-legged creepy-crawler is apparently a pinktoe tarantula.
Females of this species can reach a length of 2.75 inches and a leg span of up to 4.75 inches! They have also been observed injecting digestive acid into their prey and drawing in the liquefied remains.
The small bird was most likely a wren. It's safe to say that it didn't stand a chance.
