Internet – Heartbreaking! A cute baby cat was found abandoned in the street with no trace of her mother.

Was the mama cat dead, or was the little cat with the bright blue eyes snatched away from her and subsequently abandoned?

In all likelihood, the latter is more plausible, according to a video Pet's Family uploaded to Facebook.

The video also shows where the tiny animal was found and rescued.

She was both curious and scared of her rescuers, who filmed the encounter with a cell phone camera.

The one-month-old kitten was still visibly wobbly on her feet and obviously very hungry.

At first, she didn't want the humans to pick her up, but she eventually gave in. Her rescuer stroked the meowing fur ball and gave her some milk.

First they tried to feed her with a syringe, but the kitten wasn't interested.

But she did like lapping up milk out of her rescuer's hand as fast as she could.

The kitty's rescuers said they asked people in the area if they had seen the mother, but no one had any information about where the tiny ball of fur had come from. The baby cat just appeared one morning.

There are no families with cats in the area, which led the rescuers to believe that someone had abandoned the poor creature.

Fortunately, the baby is now safe and has some milk in her. She will be taken to the vet for a check-up. The rescuers also said they will do their best to find her a forever home.

Where exactly the kitten was found is unclear.

But the place doesn't matter: what's important is that the little kitten was rescued and will get the help and home she needs.
